Imagine being able to walk into a room, press a button and have the airflow only to that room immediately boosted by up to 80%, quietly. Increase ventilation to selected areas when guests are over, equalize temperatures in rooms that are too hot or too cold. Or, build your own power circulated HVAC system. Installation is easy: simply cut the flexible or rigid duct where you want the fan installed, insert the duct, and then seal the duct with a nylon strap (for flexible) or sheet metal screws (for ridged ducts). |

With electronic duct dampers, an appliance module and any X10 timer, you can reduce your heating/cooling expenses by cutting off airflow to unoccupied rooms during work hours. Or, if you want a room to be a little colder or warmer than the rest of the rooms in the house (i.e. grandma and grandpa's bedroom), any mechanical thermostat can close the damper when a pre-specified temperature is reached. |
Enjoy having complete electronic control of which rooms your HVAC system heats or cools with this 24V Motorized Duct Dampers that can be automated (or manually controlled) in a variety of ways. These units are compatible with our popular RCS HVAC Zone Controllers (see our 24V Electronic Duct Dampers for other compatible units). 24V Hardwired power supply included. The Equalizer EQ2 is designed to be placed over a floor or wall register (6" x 12" maximum size) to boost the airflow from that register. By boosting airflow, it will warm up rooms that are chronically cold in the winter and cool down rooms that are chronically too hot in the summer. |
