The ADTRAN DSU III DBU, a high-performance rackmount data channel service unit (DSU/CSU), provides an interface between the digital data service (DDS) and the customers data terminal equipment (DTE) while providing automatic switched dial backup (DBU) of the dedicated circuit. This is the 1B+D ISDN DBU. When the DSU III DBU is configured for dedicated service with switched DBU, the user selects options to qualify a dedicated line failure. Upon line failure recognition, the DSU initiates connection to the remote unit over the switched network. Upon restoral of the DDS circuit, the unit automatically or manually reverts to the restored DDS circuit. Another feature is DTE-to-service rate matching, for dedicated and switched DBU modes. This feature allows slower rate DTE equipment to communicate over a higher speed digital line. In the DBU mode, dialing is accomplished automatically (with stored numbers) or manually. The unit responds to standard loopback commands from the telephone company central office. The front panel LEDs display test status, alarms, and errors during a test and DBU status. Automatic service rate detection and pair reversal detection aid installation. |

This is the perfect system to use for garage storage, where wooden or metal cabinets would be likely to get dinged by yard tools, cars, and so on.The cabinet is easy to assemble-you don't need tools to do it, though a soft mallet may be helpful. As you expect with Rubbermaid products, the cabinet is almost indestructible. The one complaint I had is that when I put mine together in my basement the unevenness of the floor caused a slight misalignment of the doors. This was easily corrected with a shim placed under the front edge. Notable plusses include lightweight construction that makes relocating the cabinets easy and an amazingly small footprint for what it can hold. Choo-Choo Chelves. ?to meet your whimsical storage and display needs. These were part of a Lillian Vernon set of wall-hung shelves that included, we suspect, a locomotive, train cars and a caboose. We got the cars, and we think they're plenty whimsical all by their lonesome. Heavy duty (3/8" thick painted wood) with less than heavy-duty hooks, but you could replace those or screw them straight onto the walls. Our each is a pair. The open-top car is blue, yellow, black and white with a night sky above it, and measures 13-5/8" long x 12-3/4" high x 5" deep. The car with the top is in red, green, black, blue, yellow and white, with the same night sky. It measures 13-5/8" long x 12-1/4" high x 5" deep. Handy dads could buy a second pair, add a few wooden blocks and dowels plus a lick of paint and make an engine and caboose from the closed-top cars. Kiddles love it when their dads do that. |
