Activists carry signs that read "Join Republicans against McCain."
One gets interviewed and says: "...I'm from New Jersey, I'm down here at CPAC supporting Mike Huckabee...for several reasons... I appreciate his stances on the conservative issues, he is a true conservative, he is our only conservative. And beyond that he is for the middle class, and he believes that people should be lifted and brought up and not put down. And there is too many people in this country that are too dependent on others and it shouldn't be as much as it is right now, the middle class is just being thrown into the poor class.. and its just getting worse and worse and its wrong. And I truly believe that Mike Huckabee can make a difference in this country..."
